Reportable accidents, injuries and illnesses — the 15-minute call and the 10-working-day form

MSHA immediate notification — 30 CFR §50.10

Any §50.2(h) accident must be reported at once, and within 15 minutes of the operator knowing. Call first; write it up afterwards.

Was anyone hurt?  30 CFR §50.2(e)

Any one of these is a reportable occupational injury — Form 7000-1, no 15-minute call. None of them is first aid only.
